Why I work with Webflow and what are the benefits for your business

Let's connect:

I've been working with Webflow to create websites for a while now. After some time and sufficient testing, I decided to create or offer the websites for my customers using Webflow exclusively.

About Webflow

Webflow offers its product as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This means that the software and the therefore required IT infrastructure are operated by Webflow. And we as customers can use them in the form of a pure service. In principle, Webflow offers a perfect combination of web-based development environment and content management system.

Benefits for your business

Individual design and responsiveness

For me as a designer, Webflow offers the possibility to implement many of your individual wishes. Thus endless possibilities help me to make your website stand out from your competitors. Among other things, the possibility is offered to work optimally with animated images, illustrations or videos. Webflow allows me to keep an eye on all important resolutions of desktop, tablet and mobile and to optimize the designs accordingly.

Search engine optimized (SEO)

In addition to the optimized display of the website (desktop, tablet and mobile), Webflow offers the possibility to use customized metadata for each page including subpages. This is especially important for search engine optimization. So you can use individual written metadata with the corresponding elaborated keywords for each page. Therefore the pages can be found better with search engines such as Google or Bing. Additionally, a different thumbnail can be included for each page. This means that if you share your page with a link, you can influence which image is displayed and which is the most "eye-catchy" and impresses your customers.
Webflow also impresses with fast loading times, which is an additional positive factor for your Google ranking.

Fast loading times

Small loading times are not only important for the website visitor, but also for the search engine ranking. Fast loading websites end up higher in the search results. Therefore, Webflow enables particularly fast loading websites hosted at Webflow through various actions:

  1. Websites created in Webflow have particularly lean code, which means they load faster
  2. Webflow uses high-performance AWS servers and infrastructure to host your website
  3. A Content Delivery Network (CDN) used by Webflow ensures that large portions of websites are delivered from servers that are geographically close to the website visitor

Security and hosting

For hosting, Webflow relies on the public cloud provider Amazon Web Services (AWS) and therefore on the largest cloud computing service in the world. This guarantees a very high reliability of the IT infrastructure.
Furthermore, Webflow offers SSL encryption, automatic scaling and automatic backups as standard.
Webflow takes care of installing security patches and performs necessary maintenance. Thanks to high availability, this is usually done without interrupting the service or making the website unavailable.
Webflow also commissions so-called pentests at least once a year, which are carried out by external companies. Here, the software and infrastructure of Webflow are checked for security gaps or other vulnerabilities in order to be able to close them proactively. All in all, Webflow offers a secure environment for your company website without you or me having to worry about it.

Easy updating of content

Do you regularly change content on your website, do you want to run a blog or do you want to update or add to the menu of your restaurant on a regular basis? Then Webflow offers a very simple and user-friendly interface.
To do this, we take a close look at what content needs to be changed on a regular basis. We create these in a so-called content management system (CMS). Webflow's CMS is easy to use, so you or your employees can easily change content on your website. If you don't want to do that, I can do it for you. Feel free to contact me!
